Orders for advertisements in this publication are accepted subject to the Standard Conditions agreed by the Newspaper Society and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising which state that the publisher does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by (a) an error, inaccuracy or omission in the printing of an advertisement; (b) for any failure to publish an advertisement except on the date/s specified by the advertiser; (c) for the publication of any advertisement on a date other than specified and (d) for the alleged loss or damage caused by any mistake made in design of advert on advertisers part or through their lack of care.
We carefully check our adverts and though we do realise that mistakes can occur, we ask the advertisers to thoroughly check their artwork before handing it over to us and to check the proof they are provided with by us, thoroughly against their artwork. We regret that we cannot accept responsibility for any mistakes that are not pointed out to us by the advertiser when they are given their proof to correct prior to print.
